TW Walsh's music is beautifully subtle and magnetic. He knows how to let a song breathe. His latest album, "Blue Laws," is a pop record shifted into low gear. This is not a record of fancy tricks and "catchy" guitar solos. This is a record that speaks simply and purely, a record that pulls you way, way in.

Walsh is originally from Massachusetts. There he honed his drumming skills while playing in various local bands. After performing some of his own material under the moniker Dirtbike, Walsh released his first solo album, "Made In Mexico," in 2000. After a national tour with Pedro the Lion and Ida that spring (where members of Pedro performed as his backing band), Walsh released his second full-length solo effort, "Blue Laws," in the spring of 2001.
