When I'm Falling is an introspective, drifting, languorous musical experience. A continuing study of innuendo and detail, looseness and economy, warmth and dryness, it picks up where the bands debut disc left off.

As Splendidzine wrote... "Fred Lonberg-Holm seems to want to make an honest woman out of pop music -- to sophisticate it and give it artistic integrity. Terminal 4 goes a long way to support the argument that he's succeeding."

Terminal 4's, When I'm Falling, the band's sophomore release on
Truckstop Records, features the compositions of noted cellist-arranger,
Fred Lonberg-Holm, teamed with Bassist Jason Roebke (The Valentine Trio,Rapid Croche), Trombonist/Guitarist Jeb Bishop (Vandermark 5) and
Guitarist Ben Vida (Town and Country).

Terminal 4 is the most recent and long-lived of a series of bands
created by Lonberg-Holm seeking to explore and expand the parameters of pop music as we know them. In Fred's own words: "Since the early 80's, i have been creating a body of work that has incorporated or synthesized aspects of popular music with more organic forms and materials. I continue to write and study more flexible approaches to pop music."
